PSR’s Dive In With Developers Panel Event

Curated and moderated by the President of PreConstruction & Developments, Ryan Rabinovich, PSR Brokerage will host the inaugural Dive in with Developers panel discussion, providing unique insight into the minds of Toronto’s leading real estate developers. The event is created in support of PSR’s Developers VS Epilepsy campaign, with all Sponsorship and Donation proceeds benefiting The Epilepsy Classroom at The Hospital for Sick Children.

Five industry leading executives will come together to form the Dive in with Developers panel, hosted at the Omni King Edward Hotel on April 11th at 12pm. Drawing from their intimate industry expertise, and through a series of carefully curated questions, the panel will engage in a well rounded discussion about the state of the real estate industry and market, with particular focus on the GTA.

Jane Renwick

Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Diamond Kilmer Developments

Jane Renwick is responsible for the marketing and sales of Diamond Kilmer Developments’ residential projects. Her expertise includes market research, pricing, suite mix and floor plan design, as well as devising the marketing and sales strategy. She also supports the acquisition, planning and construction teams on an ongoing basis.

Prior to joining Diamond Kilmer, Jane was the Chief Marketing Officer at Milborne Group where she worked directly with developers consulting on residential product development, marketing and sales for high-rise projects across the GTA. She was also the Vice President for the Onni Group, managing over 2,000 units across two mixed-use master-planned communities in Toronto and Etobicoke, and the Executive Vice President and Editor of Urbanation, a market research firm that tracks and analyses the Toronto condominium market. Jane has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from McGill University.

James Tadeson

Founder & CEO, Carttera

Since founding Carttera, James has led the acquisition, financing, development and sale of over $3.4 billion of real estate held within seven Carttera investment vehicles, raising capital from public, private and institutional sources. In addition to his role leading the overall direction of the company and its investment strategies, James conceived and established Carttera’s Urban Intensification family of Funds and remains closely involved with the execution of all investments. Carttera has become a market leader in urban intensification strategies over the past decade, with over 5,000 condominium units developed, over 10 million square feet of commercial developed and over $2 billion of projects currently underway in the GTA and Montreal.

James is a CFA, is Lead Trustee and Audit Committee Chair of Summit II REIT (TSX: SMU.UN), and was the founder, CEO and Trustee of InStorage REIT (TSX: IS.UN).

Rafael Lazer

CEO, Elad Canada

Mr. Lazer joined Elad Canada in 2012 and as CEO leads the company’s operations and development strategies. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Rafael served as CFO of the company and led procurement processes, sales and financing operations totalling over $1 billion. Prior to joining the company, Rafael served as the CFO at ZIM Company in the Asia Pacific region and previously in the Caribbean and Central America. Prior to ZIM, he worked as an accountant at Ernst & Young Israel in the audit of large public and private companies such as Elbit Systems. Rafael served on the board of trustees of Agellan REIT, which was traded on the Canadian Stock Exchange and was taken over by Elad Canada in February 2019. Rafael holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel.

Robert Cooper

President & CEO, Alterra Group of Companies

Robert holds over 35 years of building industry experience, and has been honoured as a recipient of the Ontario Home Builders Lifetime Achievement Award. Robert is also the past President of Ontario Home Builders Association, between the years of 2003-2004, as well as the past President of Hamilton Halton Home Builders Association. From 2003 to 2014, he also served on the Tarion Board of Directors. Robert is proud to be President and CEO of Alterra, a company that has built over 7000 homes and condominiums throughout the GTA, and will bring no shortage of knowledge and insight to the Dive in with Developers panel.

Stephen Price

President & CEO, Graywood Developments

Stephen is responsible for developing and managing the implementation of Graywood’s operating and growth strategies, and overall leadership. During Stephen’s ten years at the company, he has led the fundraising of over $310 million in equity and overseen developments valued at over $2.5 billion.

Stephen has 28 years of real estate industry experience, having held senior acquisitions, finance and operating roles with Canadian private and public companies. He has led the acquisition, development and asset management of properties in multiple asset classes including retail, industrial, office, multi-residential, retirement home, and hospitality.

Stephen is a CFA charterholder and holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.


Dr. Elizabeth Kerr

Director, Epilepsy Classroom, The Hospital for Sick Children 

Dr. Kerr is the Director of the Epilepsy Classroom, a Clinical Neuropsychologist, an Active Scientific Staff with Department of Paediatrics, Division of Neurology, the Hospital for Sick Children. She also holds an Adjunct Clinical Academic Appointment, the Department of Paediatrics, University of Toronto.

Through a multidisciplinary team of educators, a social worker, neuropsychologist, development paediatrician and nurse practitioner, The Classroom provides children with severe epilepsy the support that they need academically, along with improving their self confidence, and self resilience. The classroom is the only one of its kind in the entire world, costs $110,000 a year to operate, and is funded entirely from donations.


Ryan Rabinovich

President, PreConstruction, PSR Brokerage

As PSR’s President of Pre-Construction & Development, Ryan holds a unique understanding the real estate market by collaborating with developers, and top producing realtors for over a decade. With fourteen years of experience in Real Estate Sales and Marketing and five, Ryan has been involved in various facets of the real estate development process including sale, marketing, site acquisition, underwriting and zoning.

Ryan has directly managed and overseen more than 6,000 residential units in the past decade, valued at over $2.5 billion. Relationship focused, Ryan maintains deep rooted relationships with top-performing brokers and realtors in GTA and has an intimate understanding of the pre-construction sales and marketing process.
