Getting to know Jason Fata in ten questions:

1. What made you decide to get into real estate?

After graduating from University, there were a few staples in my life -HGTV and browsing Real Estate on a regular basis. I became addicted to different neighbourhoods and what they had to offer, trying to picture my life in each one of them. I vividly remember the feeling I had purchasing my first place and decided I wanted to be part of this same sense of joy for others. And with my affinity to real estate and desire to help people, it was a natural fit.

2. Where would we find you on a Friday night in Toronto?

Eating the absolute best pickles and sipping “dirty” vodka martini’s at Bar Fancy or enjoying the ever-changing menu at another of my favourite spots, 416 Snack Bar.

3. Most embarrassing real-estate moment:

Maybe not embarrassing but most awkward moment was showing a home in Forest Hill to one of my clients and trying to explain a note that said” Do Not Go In Bathroom, Cat Uses It”. And when I mean “uses it….I mean USES IT!”

4. Who stands out to you / do you most admire in the business world right now?

Andy Frisella, Ed Mylett & Grant Cardone. And, will ALWAYS admire with very high regard – Anthony Bourdain

5. What is the career philosophy / mantra / inspirational quote that gets you through tougher days?

Dominate the Day

6. What is your theme song?

Jay-z “Can’t knock the hustle”

7. Describe your dream home in three words.

Character, Uniqueness, Presence

8. Where do you see yourself in five years?

Having a team in place and being one of the best in Toronto.

9. When you’re not wheeling + dealing real estate, what can we find you doing?

At the gym, on the golf course, in the kitchen, or out hanging with my dog Ben.

10. Highlight of 2018:

Selling my loft, & more importantly meeting my girlfriend Krystle.
